Welcome to Maywalk House
a new self-catering B&B apartment in Eyam.
A special place to stay
We welcome you to Maywalk House B&B in Eyam, where although you will be staying in our house, you will have a full first-floor apartment all to yourselves. You have your own separate entrance door and a key to enable you to come and go as you wish. A delicious home-cooked breakfast is included in the price, but our apartment also offers self-catering facilities, where you will have your own private kitchen with a fridge, cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Our double en suite room has been tastefully decorated and is a perfect place to relax, providing facilities including heating, WiFi, SMART flat-screen TV, DAB clock radio, hairdryer, iron/board, clothes rack and your own wardrobe. We also have secure storage available for your belongings e.g. cycles and rucksacks.
For added luxury, breakfast is served in the privacy of your own kitchen, although you may also wish to make use of the patio in our idyllic South-facing garden. From the B&B apartment, you have stunning views of Eyam and the surrounding areas in the heart of the Peak District National Park. There is on-site parking available on our drive.
Maywalk House B&B is in the village of Eyam, made famous for the Plague of 1666. It is an ideal base for exploring the many different attractions the Peak District has to offer, many of which are only a very short journey away by car. The village and the surrounding national park is ideal for walking and cycling and enjoying many other outdoor activities and with our local knowledge and experience of the area, we can help you make the most of your stay.
When looking to eat out there are a variety of public houses, cafes, tearooms and restaurants near to the Maywalk House bed and breakfast, all of which serve high-quality food (our village pub is within 5-10 mins walking distance whilst others are also only a very short drive away).
There are many places of historical interest in Eyam including the medieval church, village stocks, sheep roast and even our own village museum, and with such beautiful countryside on our doorstep, it’s hard to believe that within a 20 min drive you can be in the bright lights of Sheffield or any of the popular market towns of Chesterfield, Matlock, Buxton and Bakewell (home of the famous pudding).
